We try to catch time blindly, hands out as it flies away like a butterfly

The symbolism of this painting suggests a mystical journey through transformation, where time flows like waves through consciousness and memory, rather than being fixed. The two hands reaching toward the indigo-blue butterfly symbolize a longing for spiritual change, freedom, or enlightenment, as if the soul is trying to touch something fragile yet transcendent.

The butterfly, especially in indigo tones, represents deep inner metamorphosis, intuition, and the evolution of the spirit beyond ordinary reality. The golden background emphasizes a sacred and illuminated tone, implying wisdom, divine energy, higher awareness.
